It would have been easy to have taken the option to house the academic side of the programme in the clubhouse at Grange Park. Many academies do their lessons within bar areas at their respective facilities, but the club made the bold decision if they were going to do the Academy, then it would be done properly.
The Academy has invested in 2 x modular buildings that are modern, purpose built classrooms that house up to 50 students at a time. The feedback from the tutors at Loughborough College is that it is a brilliant addition to the facility and the environment suits itself for educational purposes.
If I was a parent with a young footballing son, I wouldn't wish for anyone else than Paul to progress their knowledge both academically and football wise. His experience is so good because he has been down both routes. He got his A Levels and also played over 300 league and cup games professionally. The Academy will be a success - Dutch will make sure of it.
